Thoroughly enjoyed our family weekend break at the new Badgers lodge at Cleveleymere. Our party of 7 ranged from 11 year old to 91 year old and it suited everyone. Gran and grandpa loved the rocking chairs outside on the private jetty in front of the lodge. My son and daughter meanwhile had a great time on the zip wire. My sister in law was happy with her sighting of a kingfisher on the river behind.
Loved the privacy as there grounds and lake are large with only 7 lodges. The beds were all really comfortable and the lodge is really nicely finished. Comfortable room for all our party to sit at the dinner table or lounge in front of the tv.
Roger was very helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.
We took a pedalo and boat out, borrowed the mountain bikes and went out for a cycle on the paths nearby. Kids played on the football table in the den.
We all had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning to this special place.
