the lake is open every day 9.00 am till dusk, day tickets are available at the Lake at Cleveley Mere, a beautifully peaceful 24acre lake surrounded by fields and woodland adjoining the River Wyre. The first trout were introduced in 1967 and have thrived in the lake ever since. There is a natural water in-flow to the lake, which is rich in fly and insect life, providing excellent growing conditions for rainbow and brown trout weighing up to 24lbs, which are supplemented at regular intervals.

the maximum depth of the lake is approximately 15' with the North-Eastern basin varying from 2-6' and the West, centre and Southern sections varying from 6-15', creating a rich and varied fishery.

the full extent of the fishing can best be enjoyed from one of our 14 boats or from strategically positioned piers and casting platforms around the banks. The feeder pond and stocked section adjacent to the new reception centre are more heavily stocked to encourage children and beginners and provide a fly-casting tuition area.
