Directions
Cleveley Mere is located 9 miles South of Lancaster city centre
and lies between the M6 and A6, midway between the villages of Forton
and Scorton. Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 33 Lancaster South
exit. At the first roundabout turn left onto the A6 travel South
for approx 2.5 miles. Just past the New Hollies pub follow brown
tourist sign Cleveley Mere Fishing, turn left at the Hollins Lane
cross roads. Then 1st right into Cleveley Bank Lane , over railway
bridge, past farm shop J C Country, down a steep bank past the mill
house and pond. You will find us over looking the Mere on the left
It lies 3 miles North of Garstang off the A6. Follow the brown
tourist information signs. At the Hollins Lane cross roads turn
right and then 1st right again into Cleveley Bank Lane.
Entrance is off Cleveley Bank Lane to a Private car park overlooking
the Mere and close to the 'A' Frame , Finlodge and covered boat
landing stage.
We are 50 miles North of Manchester airport with direct motorway
connection via the M56, M61 & M6 or 1¼ hours via the
Manchester airport Lancaster rail connection.
London lies 270 miles to the South with direct motorway connection
via the M1 & M6 or 3½ hours via the direct London Euston
to Lancaster express rail connection.
